About Shanti Maria

Shanti Maria is a corporate veteran in the Learning & Development space who firmly believes her lived experiences have always informed her choices. She is a lifelong learner who is happy to admit that she’s a work in progress and that life is as much about learning as it is about unlearning. One of Shanti’s many guiding principles is creating a positive impact on every person she meets. And, she brings this perspective to her work as well. As a woman who has spent a significant amount of time in corporate (18+ years to be exact), Shanti cares deeply about diversity, inclusion, and social justice in this space. In her current role, Shanti creates actionable strategies for organizations to create a ripple effect of diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as give back meaningfully to the communities they impact. For Shanti, growth looks like helping her organization create more equitable spaces and absorbing everything she learns along the way to fuel her own personal development. Outside the workplace, Shanti’s family is her north star. Spending time with the people she loves, listening to music and baking are the ways she fills up her emotional cup.
