Receiving Challenges.• Responsible for purchasing more than 500+ parts and coordinate with 25 suppliers worldwide.• Releasing of orders to suppliers based on the demand.• Follow RTV process with vendors during MRB, specification mismatch, supply of non-compliance parts.• Coordinating with suppliers regarding the cancellation or supply of products based on the forecast to maintain the correct inventory levels.• Maintaining an effective supplier database to procure various services, equipment and materials.• Working close with accounts payable team• Working regularly with warehouse team on receiving challenges (DR) for the smooth receipt process.• Handling weekly / Site conference calls for reviewing the OPOR (open Purchase order reports), MRP Signal and Escalation.• Extensive follow-up in the area of vendors and logistics to know the status of ordered materials.• Communication with supply chain department- handling of issues at vendor end like invoice mistake, getting test certificate for materials etc.
