Creating AWS Glue pipelines from various data sources, to be eventually queried by AWS Athena easily- Implemented python script to bulk export data from AWS s3 to SQLServer using ECS task- Created Splunk alerts for glue job failures using Kinesis Firehose Subscription via Cloudwatch Log Groups- Implementing PySpark script for data pipelines connecting to various sources(sqlserver, postgresql, s3), as a part of migrating existing jobs away from AWS Glue Catalogs, optimizing the queries and improving partition discovery to run job faster- Developed a custom lambda via eventbridge trigger to provide AWS Glue Job status updates on slack channel- Researched and implemented replication configuration for our buckets between accounts(envs) and usage of bucket keys instead of kms key service to reduce KMS calls- Creating custom transform in AWS Glue pipeline to export data from s3 to SqlServer using python script to truncate the table first- Developed tooling support to sync data from Prod to Dev for various big datasets, creating a configurable shell script for DS team (sync all/window/specific dataset)- Developed a pipeline for loading datasets from s3 to sqlserver/postgresql via Glue, researching, testing POCs and making performance enhancements- Performing on call responsibilities
