   As the portfolio manager for alliance partner banks, my primary responsibility is to drive the acquisition and activation of new merchants, thereby ensuring business growth in the Banking channel. I am accountable for achieving volume, revenue, penetration, and growth targets for the partner banks assigned to me.To achieve these goals, I focus on building strong relationships with key influencers within the assigned banks. By mapping and developing these relationships, I am able to leverage their support in promoting Razorpay as a vendor or customer within the bank\'s ecosystem. This involves facilitating seamless onboarding and ensuring that Razorpay is integrated into the bank\'s systems and aligned across departments.I am also responsible for identifying potential opportunities to transition banks from referral arrangements to more comprehensive banking programs, such as white-labeled or value-added service (VAS) arrangements. This requires a thorough understanding of the banks\' capabilities and needs, as well as market trends and opportunities.To track and monitor progress, I establish and adhere to a well-defined process for lead generation from the partner banks. I report these leads to the respective banks and maintain internal management information systems (MIS) for monitoring purposes. This ensures transparency and enables data-driven decision-making.Additionally, I ensure that all engagements with partner banks are formalized through agreements that outline the terms, base rates, and mark-ups, if applicable. This involves working closely with cross-functional departments like Legal and Finance to ensure internal closure on these agreements.
