ABOUT SHANTANU CHAKOTE

I’m Shantanu Rajkumar Chakote, a passionate M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) student at MIT-WPU with a deep commitment to pharmaceutical innovation, regulatory science, and academic excellence. Coming from a humble background, I have always believed that dedication, curiosity, and resilience are the keys to transforming dreams into achievements. With a strong foundation in B. Pharm and hands-on experience in drug regulatory affairs and biomaterials (NPTEL), I’ve had the privilege of presenting research at prestigious platforms like Aavishkar, where I secured multiple awards—including 2nd prize at the Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention and 3rd prize at the zonal level. My research on probiotic chocolate using Lactobacillus from kefir and ongoing review on the cosmetic value of plants reflect my interdisciplinary interest and drive to merge science with real-world applications. I’ve trained at NCL and gained valuable industry insights from innovators like Munir Sayyad (AVP, Reliance Jio) during product development training programs at DBATU Lonere. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of real-world challenges in pharmaceutical innovation and market-driven research. I believe in bridging academic knowledge with practical application, and I enjoy contributing to discussions in pharmaceutics, regulatory affairs, and novel drug delivery systems Always open to meaningful connections and knowledge exchange within the pharmaceutical and healthcare innovation space.
