About Shantanu A.
I am an educator, program enabler, and science communicator with 7+ yrs experience spanning classroom instruction, teacher development, curriculum design, and community-based science outreach. My work focuses on building sustainable systems for learning that facilitate joyful learning and enable both students and educators to lead their own growth. Across private and govt. schools, discovery spaces like WonderLab, and independent astronomy outreach, I have designed and facilitated learning experiences that combine rigour, imagination, and accessibility. I am particularly interested in how evidence-based instruction, reflective practice, and contextual pedagogy can shift student outcomes and reshape school culture. Over the years, my classroom experience has evolved into a passion for capacity building by supporting learners and educators to think more deeply, question freely, and learn with agency. As the founder of The Astrogeek Comics and a former WonderLab mentor, I have utilised storytelling, visual design, and interactive science communication to make complex STEM ideas engaging for diverse learner groups. I believe science becomes meaningful when it is visible, felt, and participatory, when every learner sees themselves as a thinker, builder, and explorer.I thrive in work that lives at the intersection of program strategy, facilitation, and research-backed pedagogy.
