ABOUT SHANNON SMITH

I currently live in Alpharetta, Georgia but was born and raised in Royston, GA. I attended Hart County High School and graduated from Emmanuel College with a bachelor\'s degree in business administration. I\'ve also graduated from the University of Georgia School of Banking attending 20••••04, elected Secretary of my class and ranked 2nd among all students based on GPA. I have over 28 years of banking experience with 17 years of SBA lending experience. I\'ve held various lending and management positions throughout my career including Management Trainee at Regions Bank, SVP/Construction Loan Officer, SVP/Commercial Loan Officer \' and SVP SBA Lender and Manager. During my 17 years of SBA experience, I\'ve started an SBA Division from the ground up and have assisted in taken over established SBA Divisions to cleanup. During my banking career I\'ve established and serviced loan portfolios ranging up to $120M in size. I\'ve received the Business Developer of the year award multiple times along with several other loan production awards.I\'ve been married for 27 years, have two children, a daughter age 24 and son age 21. My daughter is a Veterinarian Tech and son plays lead guitar for a band in Athens, GA. I enjoy all things outdoors from hunting, fishing, hiking, and golf along with spending time with my family.
