Hello! My name is Shao-Nan Chien, and I am a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience at the University of California, Riverside.I am deeply interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of healthcare systems, decision making as a healthcare decision strategist/ working in biopharmaceutical marketing. My academic background, combined with leadership roles, marketing experience, VSPINK ambassador experience, and hands-on clinical exposure in hospital settings, has shaped my goal of bridging healthcare, communication, and strategic outreach.Beyond leadership roles in university organizations, I have experience in social media content creation and community engagement. I began vlogging and editing videos in the 11th grade of high school, starting with content about hiking trails in Hong Kong and travel vlogs. More recently, I have shifted my focus to creating college-related contents and travel contents on both my Instagram and YouTube platforms.From being a camera-shy and introverted girl to someone now outgoing, athletic, and passionate about content creation, my journey has been transformative. In the summer of 2022, I challenged myself to hike some of the most difficult trails in Hong Kong, which marked the beginning of my vlogging and video editing experience. I truly enjoy creating videos and social media content for the community, as it allows me to spread joy and positivity to people around the world.Stay tuned as I document my final year as an undergraduate student at UCR in the upcoming school year!
