ABOUT SHANNON THOM
Shannon is currently a Lead, Appropriate Use at Canada\'s Drug Agency. A passionate and knowledgeable public health professional, Shannon holds a Master\'s degree in Public Health and a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute. In addition to her public health work, Shannon has served on the Board of Directors at Yorktown Family Services, the Health Quality Committee at Sherbourne Health and the Youth Public Engagement Champions at CARE Canada. Shannon also has special interests in environmental and technology policy. She was a youth consultant for the North America region for YET4H (Young Experts: Tech 4 Health) and has completed the Secure and Responsible Tech Policy Foundations microcredential through the RBC Cybersecure Policy Exchange at Toronto Metropolitan University.
