ABOUT SHANNON BUCKLEY

Shannon is a forward-thinking digital strategist and educator who drives purposeful, AI-informed, student-centered innovation in higher education. With 10+ years in instructional design, media, strategic management, and project leadership, she transforms how institutions and learners use technology to create human-centered learning experiences.She partners with colleges and universities to lead digital innovation, design creative and technical learning solutions, and empower faculty, staff, and students to adopt new technologies. Shannon is an Instructional Designer and Instructor of Medical Education at Geisinger College of Health Sciences, as well as an online adjunct business instructor at Southern New Hampshire University, which provides her with a strong understanding of faculty and staff needs.Shannon is pursuing an EdD at Wilkes University, researching AI adoption, digital transformation strategies, and organizational culture in higher education institutions. Her work examines how AI and digital tools can reshape teaching, learning, and operations to deliver more personalized, efficient, and meaningful educational experiences that create value.As Chief Creative Officer of Master Shot Studios, she blends storytelling and technology to produce impactful content for businesses and nonprofits. She created Adobe tutorial content on YouTube with over views and teaches an online video-editing course.Previously, she served as Web Marketing Manager at Marywood University, where she developed the institution’s first integrated website strategic marketing plan and led a cross-functional oversight team.Shannon holds a BA in Communication Arts from Keystone College and an MBA from Marywood University. Her certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), CompTIA Cloud Essentials, and Cornell’s Certificate in Digital Transformation. She received the 2023 Keystone College Helping Hands Award for alumni and community engagement.Her mission is to leverage digital tools to make education more accessible, innovative, and human-centered, empowering educational leaders and learners not just to survive the ever-evolving digital landscape but thrive in it.
