About Shannon Collins Larner
I have spent nearly 15 years in the philanthropy sector. From my earliest experience in the telefunding center at UT, to my current role as a senior member of the LA Phil\'s philanthropy team, I have developed an extensive toolkit and a deep appreciation for building relationships with organizations that will stand the test of time. In my most recent roles, I have driven both broad based and mid-level membership programs leveraging direct-response marketing, donor programming, thoughtful stewardship and impact messaging, and a lot of listening. Throughout my career (and in my current position), I have managed relationships with donors making 6-figure annual gifts and have worked closely with multiple Boards.Out of all my professional accomplishments, I am the most proud of my work in a supervisorial role. Cultivating the next generation of talented fundraisers is not only crucial for our industry, but has given me ample opportunities to investigate \"best practices\" and look at some of our field\'s defaults with an eye for improving efficiency and deepening relationships. These \"aha moments\" are thanks to the new perspectives brought from my team members, and have only continued to hone my craft and our field.
