   As the Founder and Executive Director of Sustain Charlotte, I lead the organization’s efforts to create sustainable, equitable urban environments for Charlotte’s current and future generations. I have developed and led programs focused on policy advocacy, grassroots mobilization, and public education. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, I’ve driven progress in transportation, urban planning, and environmental stewardship. I built the organization from the ground up, overseeing all aspects of its operations, from program development to fundraising and community relations.Program Development & Strategic Leadership: Designed, implemented, and refined community-driven programs that focus on policy advocacy, sustainable development, and climate change. Addressed key urban challenges and created solutions through collaboration.Fundraising & Financial Management: Spearheaded successful fundraising campaigns, securing diverse funding sources, including grants, private foundations, and individual donors. Managed a multi-million-dollar budget, ensuring financial sustainability.Community & Public Relations: Built strong relationships with local governments, businesses, and community groups to drive policy changes.
