As an Assistant Funeral Director, I provide compassionate and professional support to bereaved families during their time of loss. My role encompasses a variety of tasks, making each day unique as I adapt to the changing needs of the funeral home.I play an integral part in visitations by setting up the room, greeting attendees, running the sound for chapel services, helping to lead processions, and serving food and beverages at receptions. Additionally, I assist with picking up decedents from retirement homes, residences, and hospitals and preparing them for viewings. Maintaining the cleanliness and high standards of the funeral home is a main task to ensure a respectful environment for families during their visits.I assist with aftercare services by guiding families through the application process for death benefits and helping them cancel government identification. My versatility allows me to take on various tasks as required, contributing to a supportive and efficient atmosphere for both families and colleagues. I strive to genuinely make a difference in the lives of the families we serve by providing the utmost care and compassion during their time of need.
