Proven Accounting Leader with 15+ years of experience across a variety of disciplines.Though my current job title is Accounting and Finance Consultant for a large global Finance Consulting Firm, it would be more accurate to say I am a blend of a Corporate Controller, a Financial Planning & Analysis team, an SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting expert, Chief of Staff to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer, Leadership Development, Team Diplomat, and Accountant. Working cross-functionally with Board Members, Executive Leadership, Departmental Heads, Human Resources, Operations, and External Auditors, requires wearing many hats and the ability to strike a balance between decisive leadership and inclusive collaboration. I have earned a reputation amongst colleagues for doing just that. Examples include- Preparing, reviewing, analyzing and presenting financial data and reporting (both internal and external), including annual budgeting and quarterly budget reviews across a variety of organizations- Acting as the Interim Director of Finance to advise Executive Leadership and provide guidance for the accounting, reporting and compliance of a small public company- Ensuring both external and internal financial reporting requirements and compliance were met for publicly and privately held companies- Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing account reconciliations and accounting treatment ensuring the books and records of the various firms/company’s I’ve worked/consulted for for are accurate and complete- Managing people in collaboration across organizational departments and teams.
