As an Investigator with the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control I conduct investigations into alleged violations, noncompliance, negligence, misconduct, fraud, unethical behavior, or illegal activities involving individuals, organizations, or agencies. I examine applications, documents, financial records, credit histories, and advertising for accuracy and compliance. Inspect premises, equipment, and records for compliance with laws, regulations, and standards. I collect, catalog, and analyze evidence, secure it for hearings, and testify when necessary. I also conduct background checks, interviews, and administrative searches. Monitor consumer product marketing and advise on compliance procedures. I draft reports, affidavits, and legal notices, and compile case materials. As well as notify violators of noncompliance, enforce standards and court orders, and recommend corrective actions or penalties. I coordinate with legal counsel, handle subpoenas, and manage case records. I assist in filing charges based on evidence and utilizes agency systems as required.
