As Director of Development at DreamTree Project, I lead fundraising strategy and donor engagement to support youth experiencing homelessness in northern New Mexico. I develop and implement comprehensive fundraising campaigns, oversee major giving initiatives, manage donor communications, and strengthen community partnerships to sustain and grow our mission.Key responsibilities include:• Designing and executing annual giving strategies, including our radio fundraiser, donor appeals, and planned giving outreach• Producing compelling impact reports, newsletters, and donor communications to deepen engagement• Building and nurturing relationships with donors through personal outreach, events, and stewardship• Supervising and collaborating with the outreach team, consultants, and interns to amplify DreamTree’s reach and visibility• Managing our donor database (Little Green Light) to ensure accurate, effective fundraising operations• Representing DreamTree at community events and within local networks to foster strategic partnerships• Supporting grant writing and identifying new funding opportunities in collaboration with our leadership teamI’m proud to be part of an organization that centers trauma-informed care, youth empowerment, and community resilience.
