Shannon Glover is a lighting designer based in Stantec\'s (formerly Candela) Lynnwood, WA office. With 21 years of experience, she collaborates on innovative lighting designs for museum, theatre, retail, educational, and entertainment projects. Her work includes lighting designs for the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) in Seattle, Vancouver Community Library in Vancouver WA, Experience Music Project in Seattle, Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish WA, Sun Valley Center for the Arts in Idaho, Maricopa County Downtown Court Tower in Phoenix AZ, Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum in Ignacio, CO, and ShoWare Events Center in Kent, Wash. Shannon’s professional knowledge is combined with a background in lighting and scenic design for the theatre, which enhances her ability to develop creative, high-impact lighting design solutions that reveal the unique vision for each individual project. She is an environmentally-conscious designer who stays abreast of new lighting technologies such as LEDs, advanced lighting controls, and daylighting techniques. Shannon\'s design for MOHAI received the IES Paul Waterbury Award of Excellence for Outdoor Lighting in the 2013 International competition.
