As the Vice President of Business and Community Initiatives I oversee a variety of programs and businesses that are aimed at supporting people diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. My current portfolio includes;• Respite programming (Recreation Respite, In-Home Respite, and self-directed In-Home Respite)• Community Habilitation (Community Habilitation, Community Habilitation-R, and self-directed Community Habilitation)• Supported Employment (SEMP, ACCES-VR, Pathways to Employment, Employment Training Program)• Equine Assisted Services (High Hurdles and Lothlorien)• Moving Miracles Dance Studio• Independent Community Living Opportunities (25 independent living apartment units across three sites, 12 units are HUD) • The Housing Subsidy Program (Transition Stipends and Housing Subsidies)• Environment Modifications• Support Brokerage• Agency Intake In addition, I am also tasked with creating, establishing, and stabilizing new and innovative businesses, programming, and community collaborations to assist with defining and establishing the next generation of supports and services within my organization and throughout our industry. Building and supporting strong, high-performing leadership teams is at the forefront of the work that I do.
