About Shannon Maggio
I’ve spent the last 15+ years building a career in sales by showing up, listening well, and helping people solve problems. Most of my experience is in pharmaceutical and medical device sales, where I’ve worked with specialists like pulmonologists, allergists, and cardiologists to introduce new products, grow market share, and support long-term adoption. Along the way, I’ve earned recognition for performance, including multiple President’s Club honors and a Circle of Excellence nomination. In recent years, I’ve also taken on local B2B roles, including co-founding a regional lifestyle magazine and leading advertising partnerships for the Louisiana Restaurant Association. I enjoy connecting with business owners, building relationships that last, and being part of something that helps people succeed in their work. I bring a steady, experienced approach to sales and account management, with a focus on building trust and following through. I’m known for being reliable, easy to work with, and able to adapt across industries while staying grounded in what works: strong relationships, clear communication, and a practical understanding of what drives results. Experience
Owner & Director of Advertising
Jan 2022 — Present · Baton Rouge, LA
Starting DIG was about filling a gap in Baton Rouge — a place to highlight the people, food, and culture that make the city what it is. I handled everything from pitching advertising to creating the media kit to getting that first “yes” from a local sponsor. I worked directly with restaurant owners, vendors, and community leaders to build something real from the ground up. It reminded me how much I enjoy connecting one-on-one and helping people promote their businesses in a way that actually works. Even though DIG started as a passion project, I treated it like any territory I’ve ever managed — with focus, consistency, and follow-through.
