ABOUT SHANNON MAGUIRE

Shannon joined Karr Barth Associates in 2021. As a Vice President at Karr Barth, Shannon is responsible for living out the firm’s mission of “making a difference in the lives of others” through her dedicated service to clients and mentorship and development of advisors. In her client practice, Shannon utilizes a holistic, comprehensive approach customized to suit the needs of each individual, family and business. She helps clients navigate complex financial landscapes by creating personalized financial strategies in areas such as retirement planning, investment management, tax optimization and estate planning. To further enhance her skills, she achieved her Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach designation from Columbia University’s Coaching Center for Excellence, which has allowed her to design a more personal approach to planning that more closely aligns with clients’ values and goals. She was awarded the “New Associate of the Year” award in 2022 at Karr Barth for her service to clients and was promoted to Vice President in 2023. In this role, Shannon is committed to developing the next generation of leaders. She is especially passionate about creating opportunity for women in the business and was appointed to the Equitable Diversity Board of Directors and awarded the 2023 Cultural Leadership Award as recognition for those efforts.Shannon resides in Philadelphia, PA.
