ABOUT SHANNON M. FLAHIVE
Shannon is an investor at Ensemble Innovation Ventures Fund, a Denver-based venture capital fund that launched in 2020 with a sole focus on healthcare technology. At Ensemble, she focuses on investing in Seed and Series A stage innovative healthcare technology solutions that aim to improve the patient experience and positively impact the broader healthcare ecosystem. She grew up in Littleton, Colorado and moved to Boston where she lived for ten years before returning to Colorado in 2015. She studied Economics at Harvard for her undergraduate and spent the first ten years of her career in growth and innovation strategy consulting before pursuing her MBA at CU’s Leeds School of Business, where she focused on entrepreneurship and venture capital. She worked for multiple venture funds in Boulder and Denver before joining Ensemble. Shannon is passionate about women in business, mentoring female founders, and helping to build a stronger and more diverse startup and venture ecosystem in Colorado. She was a track & field athlete through college competing in the heptathlon, and now enjoys all brands of Colorado recreation.
