I advise my clients primarily in respect of Wills, Trusts, Executries, and Powers of Attorney. I am the first point of contact for my firm’s elderly and vulnerable clients, and I am proud that we are a Dementia Friendly organisation. I advise clients in relation to all aspects of estate planning and administration, including succession planning, tax, asset protection and contentious trusts and estates. I am an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I have a keen interest in Mental Health and Incapacity Law, and I am regularly appointed by the court to act as a professional Guardian to clients who are incapable of making decisions and safeguarding and promoting their financial interests. I am also a curator ad litem for the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland, appointed to safeguard the interests of those subject to proceedings under Mental Health legislation.
