About Shannon Fitzpatrick
As a government and public services consultant with experience supporting international and domestic clients, I provide value in process improvement efforts, strategic planning, and project implementation. I hold a Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in Global Health, with focuses in global women’s health and mental health. My background and education in global health have enabled me to work, study, and teach in over twenty countries, most notably in Uganda, India, France, and China. After receiving my B.A. in International Affairs (global public health concentration; French minor) from George Washington University, I completed an Ayurveda certification course in Kathmandu, Nepal and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and am passionate about leveraging traditional and modern approaches to combat some of our world\'s largest health and wellbeing challenges.I am the co-founder of the Rafiki Yoga Project, a Uganda-based community empowerment program aimed at empowering Ugandan youth through the practice of yoga and mindfulness.
