ABOUT SHANNON BAIRD

I am currently a Paralegal at Norton Rose Fulbright and a Future Trainee Solicitor at DLA Piper, both prestigious international law firms known for their global presence. I recently graduated with an LLB degree from The University of Sheffield, where I received the Oxford University Press Law Prize for achieving the highest academic performance in my first year. My professional passion lies in empowering individuals in protecting their creations and brands, whilst expanding their businesses. Beyond my legal qualifications, I am deeply committed to volunteer work. I have had the privilege to teach Greek and English to refugees in Greece and Cyprus, facilitating their access to employment opportunities. Furthermore, I have actively contributed to pro bono cases and research as a Group Leader at the Miscarriages of Justice Review Centre. This experience has honed my skills in communication, creativity, and leadership, while instilling in me a deep sense of social responsibility and commitment to justice. My overarching objective is to assist individuals in comprehending their legal rights and unlocking their full potential.
