Our families’ physical, mental, and emotional health is only as good as what we put into our bodies. As a Mom, I grew tired of finding unhealthy, overpriced, and gimmicky beverages at grocery chains, gyms, and gatherings. As CEO & Co-Founder of Positive Beverage, I\'m building the first female-owned functional beverage company designed for the whole family. We\'re not only filling a void in the marketplace by giving consumers great tasting, healthy hydration without the chemicals and artificial sweeteners, but spreading a message of positive nutrition, positive thinking and making a positive impact in the communities that we service. Our company began with a son’s determination to provide his mother with a healthy, vitamin and calcium enhanced electrolyte drink she couldn\'t find on the market. This investment opportunity was brought to my husband George and me. I was thrilled! This was exactly the type of product that I had been searching for as a health-conscious Mom: zero calorie, zero sugar, aspartame and sucralose free. We got the company off the ground. Things were going great; we quickly landed on the shelves of Target! Tragically, COVID-19 hit and my husband died 4 months later. I stepped in as CEO, and found positive purpose in growing the company during this devastating personal loss.My 10-year old son and I went to the outdoor racetrack often, so I could watch my son do what he loves and find comfort from my grief. The mechanics, kids, and Moms drank Monster and Redbull all day long. They knew it wasn\'t great for their health and kept asking when I would make an energy version of our hydration beverage.Eventually, I cringed one too many times watching my son grab an artificial drink from the team cooler. I got into faith-fueled action developing an energy beverage I could be proud of letting my son and other families drink. The development team argued that we HAD to use artificial ingredients to compete in the marketplace. I refused. I finally called the flavor house owner myself. “We’re creating something entirely new in the industry and you’re going to be part of it.” We did it! Positive Energy is a zero calorie, zero sugar, healthy beverage at a socially accessible price point. Plus, it tastes even better than the versions with artificial ingredients. Everyone has their own story of loss and struggle. I\'m passionate about spreading positivity and making an impact through my faith, family, philanthropy, and Positive Beverage. We’re not just another run of the mill CPG company. We believe in business for good.
