WORK HISTORY
Research Consultant - Culturally Diverse Healthy Eating Guides @Birmingham City Council
Birmingham, GB
Leading the design, delivery and evaluation of Phase 3 of the Culturally Diverse Healthy Eating Guides project, as part of Birmingham\'s ambitious Food System Strategy, also known as the Birmingham Food Revolution - a city-wide movement to create a fairer, healthier and more sustainable food system. In collaboration with Birmingham City Council\'s Food Systems team, I oversee the full research and intervention cycle, from study design to community engagement, data collection, analysis and the development of inclusive, evidence-based resources to support healthier eating across the city\'s diverse communities. This phase translates insights from earlier research into practical outputs using behavioural science frameworks, alongside a co-design approach to ensure cultural relevance, accessibility and community ownership. The outputs are designed to support informed, sustained, and healthier food decision-making at home, in the workplace, and across social care and healthcare settings.
