   One of my earliest and most impactful contributions was automating the generation of monthly delinquency and collection reports, which were previously handled manually via Excel. By streamlining the ETL workflows in SSIS and building parameterized queries and Power BI visuals, I reduced reporting time from 3 days to under 6 hours. I worked closely with credit risk analysts to identify meaningful KPIs such as Days Past Due (DPD), utilization rate, and account-level risk scores, which were later used for customer segmentation and recovery strategy modeling. Additionally, I was part of a team that implemented logic for flagging suspicious transactions, feeding into downstream fraud monitoring engines.I was actively involved in reconciling loan-level and transaction-level data across different sources including mainframes and Oracle databases, often debugging data mismatches and proposing fixes at the source-to-target mapping level. I created data dictionaries, documented transformation rules, and helped in building a metadata repository to improve audit readiness. I regularly participated in daily standups and sprint planning meetings using Agile methodology and contributed to the continuous improvement of data quality, governance, and testing practices across the project. I developed Python scripts to assist in anomaly detection and trend analysis for high-volume payment transactions, which was later adopted by the internal audit team for quarterly reviews.Working in this environment gave me a deep understanding of financial regulatory compliance, including Basel risk metrics, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and SOX reporting standards. I also supported cross-functional teams in stress-testing credit portfolios using historical back-testing methodologies, building summary reports for leadership review.
