Principal Duties to Classification of Buhler parts and third-party capital equipment for import and export across the EMEA region, based on the General Rules of Interpretation, other tariff regulatory information, engineering drawings and/or vendor part drawings.Responsible for classifying, auditing, and correcting data in the SAP GTS system. Communicate with Customs brokers, provide and review tariff code information and instructions related to international shipments. Performing restricted party/SPL screening of all entities globally involved in the export, re-export and in country transfer of goods. Determining whether a partner or contact has been placed on any official denied persons or illegal trans-shipper list, blocked from import or export, or sanctioned by a government for illegal or potentially illegal acts.
