Electron Ion Collider - Design of Cryogenic Helium Vessels for SRF Cavities in Cryomodules- Design vessels in accordance with ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code- Weld joint sizing and characterization; Expansion Joint (Bellows) design using EJMA calculations- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural analysis of support structures and systems- Delineate machining, fabrication and assembly process of vessels with due regard to interfaces with other components such as cavity, tuning mechanism, thermal shield, vacuum vessel etc- Analysis of thermal effects on metal parts made of materials with dissimilar thermal expansion coefficients such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Niobium etc- Design vessel to interface with insulating vacuum and ultra high vacuum (UHV) boundaries- Attended 2023 Tesla Technology Collaboration (TTC) Meeting hosted at Fermilab- Presented in formal design reviews to panels with peers from other labs.2.
