ABOUT SHANNON MCNAMARA
I created and host the FluentlyForward entertainment news podcast - with episodes dropping weekly every Monday and Wednesday morning. Prior to FluentlyForward, I worked in the health-tech marketing industry for 8 years, working for fast-paced, hyper-growth startup companies. I\'ve also been working in comedy for over 10 years - training at The Second City, performing improv across the country, and working at The Colbert Report. Lastly, I\'m passionate about causes for the greater good. 14 years ago I founded a nonprofit, SHARE in Africa, to send girls in Tanzania to school (shareinafrica.org). Nearly every year I travel to Bukoba, Tanzania to oversee programs. I\'ve been an invited guest speaker at the White House and at the United Nations, and have been featured in the The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and interviewed on Oprah radio to raise awareness about girls\' education in Africa.
