As Director leading Maintenance Operations in Artillery and Tank systems and also as Joint Director under weapons wing I have dual responsibility 1. At the Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE) of DRDO, I am entrusted with a pivotal role in maintaining the operational readiness of cutting-edge weapon systems, artillery platforms, and heavy-moving vehicles critical to national defense. My responsibilities encompass ensuring the flawless maintenance of high-end tanks, artillery systems, missile platforms, and the 16-bedded flat Tatra trucks, which form the backbone of mobility for heavy weapon systems.2. A key aspect of my role is overseeing the proof and test firing operations of modern weaponry, including advanced systems from Israel, the United Kingdom, and Russia, ensuring that all equipment is roadworthy and combat-ready at all times. These tests are essential for validating the performance and reliability of state-of-the-art defense technologies under rigorous conditions.3. Equally critical is the human element of this operation. I lead and mentor a team of HR personnel and scientists (Levels B, C, and D), fostering a culture of technological innovation and operational excellence. I ensure that my team remains updated on the latest advancements in weaponry, maintenance protocols, and experimental data management to meet the evolving demands of modern warfare.4. My role is both strategic and operational, blending technical expertise with leadership to ensure the seamless functioning of weapons and systems that safeguard the nation. It is an honor to contribute to India’s defense preparedness by supporting innovation, precision, and excellence at every level.
