3 years experience as a Member of KSCPCR shall have the power in any matter under Commission for protection of child rights (CPCR) Act, 2005. It is an independent statutory body FUNCTIONS under sections 13, 14, 15 and under Rule 17 NCPCR Rules, 2006, Protection of Child Rights to Examine & Review, Inspection, Enquiry & Investigation, Monitoring, Effective Implementation, Policy Intervention, added activities, Reporting and Follow up. It shall have All the POWERS of a Civil Court as trying a suit under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.The Commission have been assigned a special MONITORING ROLE in the RTE-2009, POCSO-2012, the JJ Act-2015, and other Child Rights Acts (PCMA 2006, CALPRA 2016 Etc.)
