More than 28 years experience in IT. 2025-till now : Implementation of IT initiatives 20••••25 : Leading the IT initiatives at Metaliks Division of Tata Steel (Earlier TATA Metaliks Ltd.).Led the merger initiative of IT system with Tata Steel IT ecosystem (SAP merging, roll out of common systems). Responsible for improving the security of IT systems by getting the VAPT assessment done by third party and resolving all the identified vulnerabilities. Led the initiative of consolidation of Manufacturing execution systems and configuring the DR site to ensure business continuity. Won the CIO AcceleratorX award in 20••••••••23 : Working as a Client Partner in Steel Manufacturing and Supply chain planning, responsible for digital transformation resulting into business value generation (XX hundred Crs).20••••18 : Development of Manufacturing Execution System & its integrations with process control and ERP systems, for the new green field plant commissioned at Kalinganagar. 20••••13 : Development of One Manufacturing execution system(MES) for the new continuous steel making, thin slab casting and rolling mill & old steel making units (Steel melt shop and Hot strip mill).20••••10 : Migration of Manufacturing execution system from Mainframe & AS/400 to D2k & Oracle. Responsible for the silent run of the system. Heading the improvement initiatives of ITS : Worked in data warehousing and Data mining. Development of three process data warehouses for units Steel Making & Slab Casting, Hot rolling and Cold rolling. All these data warehouses are built on IBM technology having DB2 UDB as backend database.
