ABOUT SHANI AKILAH
I am a Black-British fiction writer from South London of Caribbean heritage. I am an avid reader and book blogger and was spotlighted as a ‘Key Black Influencer’ by DoubleDay Books. I am passionate about community and bringing people together and am the co-founder of Nyah Network, a book club for Black women. I have a Masters degree from Oxford University in African Studies and First Class Honours degree in International Development and Politics from Leeds University.
