Hello, my name is Shane Saltzgiver and I’m the Founder & CEO of VEC – a global BIM/VDC company that’s on a mission to reshape the way we plan, design, and construct the built world. I fell in love with construction at a young age working on jobsites with my father, studied CM at Cal Poly SLO, then spent a decade gaining industry experience while building large-scale projects. This experience enabled me to see the future of AEC project delivery and ignited my passion to build a company that can bring this vision to life. I live life by a few core principles: Be virtuous: have high moral standards and act in a way that is morally good and right Take care of others and help them on their personal journey. At VEC we follow a principle “Better together”, because I strongly believe that working as a team we can achieve far more together than we could possibly do alone Always challenge the status quo! “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” As a leader, take full accountability and responsibility for everything that is happening around you.
