I am responsible for managing multiple simultaneous, high value projects at a time throughout the organization. Projects range from well-bounded upgrades to existing systems, to urgent replacements of critical hardware, to organization-wide implementations spanning multiple years and departments. I work with executive leaders, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to bound, scope, plan, execute, and close projects on a regular basis, on time and under budget. From system selection to planned replacement, my role is to bring together a matrixed organization to meet the common goal of bringing value to our patients and our organization, using PMI standard practices and documentation. Initially hired as a Project Coordinator, I was awarded a title change to Project Manager upon completion of my PMP and MBA. I am a leader on my internal and project teams, leading the charge on internal PMO process improvement, Project Manager training and career paths, and better utilization of PM software and tools at our disposal, including ServiceNow, MS Teams, and other available products.
