Became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008, and has focused on sustainable design on many recent projects, including the design of several LEED Certified buildings and over 800 MW of solar panel installations.Areas of professional interest include working in the science and technology, hospitality, healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors.Shane has been an active member of the Structural Engineer\'s Association of California (SEAOC) throughout his career, and is also a member of ASCE, AISC, and the San Diego Historical Society.
