Science is in my blood… I am a 3rd generation FEMALE biologist and passionate medical professional with more than twenty years of industry experience in laboratory operations, molecular diagnostic testing, data entry and analyses, and clinical office management. My broad expertise includes leading high-performing cross-functional teams, project management, clinical trial research, product development and launch, commercial and marketing support, US and international regulations and all aspects of the fast-paced operations of a molecular diagnostic laboratory. I aspire to improve the lives of patients, develop respect through quality of my work and inspire confidence in those I work with. As a trusted advisor, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and talents to transform companies, departments, teams, projects, products, and experiences. In my current role as a Manager of the Clinical Data Specialist team at Myriad Genetics (a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel healthcare products), I\'ve helped contribute to and lead the dramatic growth of the organization to over $800 million in annual genetic testing revenues over a twenty-five -year period.Myriad leads the world in cancer predictive medicine. Individuals with a history of cancer in their family use these products to determine their own risk of developing cancer. In the battle against cancer, being forewarned is truly being forearmed. Myriad invests heavily in educating patients and healthcare professionals about the role genetics play in disease. More than 7 million patients have benefited from Myriad’s hereditary cancer genetic testing, which helps healthcare professionals better manage and tailor medical care. Risk can be managed and cancer may be averted through appropriate precautions. If the disease is diagnosed early, it may be treated more successfully through a variety of proven options. Today, Myriad continues this strong tradition as we are expand our portfolio and increasing our impact on patient care.
