ABOUT SHANEL KNIGHT
George Brown College graduate with a degree in Business Administrative Marketing and a post graduate certificate in Digital Media Marketing. I am interested in building on the fundamental knowledge that I have gained in my current role as an Ads Operations Specialist at StackAdapt to expand my understanding of the digital marketing industry as a whole.I have over 8 years of customer service experience with half of that time spent in a sales-based position. My time in this industry has taught me the importance of being grounded in your resolve and remaining calm when things don’t go as planned. I have been in nearly every situation that can arise in a customer service role and have mastered handling the situation calmly and professionally. Also worthy of note, being a student taught me the importance of organization and how to produce quality work. Lastly, my time working as an E-commerce Coordinator and as an Account Coordinator has taught me client management, CRM utilization, and the importance of time management.I participated in the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition which is a case-based marketing competition that challenges students’ presenting capabilities and analyzing data in a high-pressure situation. Through this competition, I have grown to be a strong presenter and grown to be extremely hardworking, persuasive, and well-spoken.
