Working for a +£100m turnover construction company, I help us be achieve our aim of remaining family orientated, improving colleagues health and happiness and leading the industry in what we do for our colleagues and their families. I deliver strategic HR, Wellbeing and Organisational Development goals in line with the values of the company while being a first point of contact for any colleague who needs support, advice or just a friendly ear. I also handle all organisational development needs, creating a system called \'Catch Up\' from scratch that is a replacement for traditional performance management. Alongside this system, I also created a new induction stream for 500 subcontractors, as well as a full educational induction program for salaried colleagues. On top of this, we currently run a initiative to bring people experiencing homelessness into our work force, and have so far taken three people off of the streets and into full time work, with many more on the horizon.
