   The Pencil Box is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing low-income, underserved public-school students in Tulsa County, with the tools they need for successful learning. By supplying free school supplies to teachers and students, we aim to empower children, equalize the classroom, support educators, and strengthen our community.As the Development Manager, I play a key role in advancing this mission by leading fundraising efforts and building relationships that sustain and grow the organization’s impact.Key Responsibilities- Fundraising Strategy: Developing and executing an annual fundraising plan to increase revenue and support The Pencil Box’s strategic goals- Donor Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with donors and prospects to ensure consistent support and engagement- Grant Writing: Researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and individual donors- Event Coordination: Planning and managing fundraising events, including logistics, budgeting, marketing, and follow-up- Budgeting & Reporting: Preparing and managing the fundraising budget, tracking expenses, and presenting financial reports to the Executive Director and Board- Marketing & PR: Collaborating with the Executive Director and Program Director to promote The Pencil Box’s mission and increase community visibility.Every child deserves access to the tools they need to succeed in school, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
