Development of Back Office applications used to administer client share movements in the context of the purchase of stock market shares. Application software used includes Oracle 12c, Oracle Apex 5.1, Oracle SQL, PL SQL, and Unix Shell Scripts. Developer for HL’s RecApp Exception Management IT System- a Web based Oracle Apex/Oracle database application used for the reporting and tracking of stock reconciliation exceptions created to meet the FCA, CASS guidelines (2015) relating to the safeguarding of client assets. Specifically involved in the development of: • Development of a SQL Stored Procedure to create a new exception rule to prevent the auto-generation of exceptions. • Development of a SQL Stored Procedure to delete auto-generated exceptions created erroneously on a Bank Holiday. • Development of a SQL Stored Procedure to amend a SIPP pension drawdown process. • Development of a SQL Stored Procedure to read a CLOB object into a JSON object, in order to populate an Oracle database. • Development of an Oracle Apex/Oracle database Workflow Assignment Management (WAM) application used to track all assignments undertaken as part of a Reconciliation process. • Development of an Adhoc Assignment Workflow process within the WAM Apex Application to be able to assign a Workflow to a Team or individual User. Development consisted of a front-end apex screen and PL SQL development. • Development of an Oracle User Defined Lock process using the Oracle DBMS_LOCK Package, to only allow a user to load one file at a time. • Development of a SQL Stored Procedure as part of the CSDR Project. The Procedure was a new exception rule to allow specifically for the transition of Client holdings from Group accounts to Individual accounts. • Development of 5 SQL Stored Procedures for new automated reconciliation rules within an Apex application. • Development of Front-End Apex screens showing Banking Providers and Banking Groups within an Apex Application.
