The Global Investment Lab provides investment advice and analysis to some of the world\'s most sophisticated private investors, with Citi banking 1/3rd of the worlds billionaires. This involves working across public and private financial markets to construct best-in-class investment solutions. Shane has been recognised as one of Citi’s leading investment professionals by being awarded the EMEA Head Pick Chairman’s Council Award; an accolade reserved for the firm’s top performers. Recipient of Employee Excellence Award for thought leadership on unconstrained funds which was presented at Fund Forum. Designed a new way to invest and identify thematic investment opportunities (i.e. Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Infrastructure…etc). Part of the nomination for Most Innovative Service Offering in the Private Asset Management Awards and winner of FT Wealth Tech Award. Part of a successfully funded project team within D10X (Citi Ventures internal startup incubator) researching the latest developments in new investment markets. Academically, Shane is a London Business School alumnus together with having completed a research study at Harvard University pertaining to capital markets and risk management analytics. Shane is a CFA Charterholder as well as being an associate member of the CISI. Shane has previously proposed economic reforms in the Irish parliament to President Mary McAleese. This was complemented by working with LIBS (London Irish Business Society) to provide recommendations on regulatory, and economic policy affecting the fund management industry in Ireland.
