Provide overall state tax consulting, tax compliance, state tax analysis, due diligence and audit defense. • Perform multi-state tax research, nexus studies, exposure analysis, and evaluate filing positions. • Track all the state and local tax attributed NOLs. • Conduct tax research using CCH, RIA Checkpoint and WestlawTax to support tax compliance, provide tax consulting services on general tax issues and audit defense, as well as enhance knowledge of tax law, rules and regulations to keep current on changes. • Review state audit information requests and responses, as well as provide necessary calculations to substantiate positions taken. • Experience in Federal RAR practice from a SALT perspective.
