Joined as Engineering Director for Software and Controls and then extended the role to Director of Vehicle Battery Systems. Leading engineering teams across multiple functions to deliver battery systems into vehicles ranging from factory automation, passenger cars, and large trucks. Working closely with the end customer and project management team to ensure timely delivery whilst keeping a core focus on the technical development, vehicle integration, and validation aspects. Notable demonstrator projects include the Nyobolt EV: a high-performance track vehicle with an 800V / 35kWh battery system demonstrated to charge from 10%-90% in under 5-minutes, and the Callum Skye: a 400V / 40kWh high-end concept car with fast charging and strong on-road performance. Main technical focus is still battery management and charger electronics and software and then working closely across system analysis, mechanical design, and build and test to deliver the end system.
