Shane Creepingbear belongs to the Cáuigù people and is a citizen of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma, where he is a federally enrolled tribal member. Shane is currently the Dean of Admission at Antioch College. He is in the process of completing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Higher Education.His experience as a first-generation college student at Antioch shaped who he is and ultimately how he sees himself as a member of society today. Shane is a dedicated community builder and works towards addressing injustice through equity, access, and diversity in higher ed. This type of rich community focus and engagement has also shaped who he is as a professional. Working in the admission field has deepened his own commitments to social justice and has helped him understand the positive impact his work can have on the world.
