ABOUT SHANE BROWN
Shane is a Building Control Surveyor with experience in a wide range of structures both big and small.Shane studied Civil Engineering at the start of his career, whilst he was working for a local Civil and Structural design consultancy as a trainee structural engineer and draftsman, detailing reinforcement schedules and producing structural drawings. After graduating with a Foundation Degree in Civil Engineering in 2008 Shane changed careers and joined Local Authority Building Control. Whilst working in Building Control Shane studied building surveying at Anglia Ruskin University. Graduating in 2011 with a Bsc (Hons) degree.Shane has worked in all areas of the profession from undertaking site investigations, and working in the drawing office to working on construction sites as a building control surveyor. It is Shane’s background in design and subsequent experience in structural engineering and building control that combine to enable Shane to give sound and cost effective advice on your projects.
