I lead a large cross functional engineering team with over 25 direct and indirect reports. I work directly with the engineers to provide technical advice, mentoring opportunities, and identify gaps for training and coaching opportunities. Internally to my department I provide technical direction, strategic and financial planning on any timescale required. I also oversee company wide engineering portfolio responsibilities assigned by VP Engineering including cyber security, agile processes, and tooling. Externally to the department I provide strategic technical advice and risk mitigation strategies to our product management organization to ensure that our engineering teams are able to execute innovative implementations while maintaining our business obligations. I plan resourcing allocations alongside project management to ensure that we have the right people with the right skills available at the right time to deliver maximum value to our stakeholders.
