About Shandor Garrison
With over 12 years of experience in the film and video industry, I am a creative and versatile storyteller who can bring stories to life through editing, directing, and producing. My mission is to create engaging and original content that resonates with diverse audiences and showcases my passion for moving pictures. As a co-founder and producer of The Purple List, I also support and celebrate the work of emerging filmmakers from my alma mater the NYU Grad Film Program, one of the most prestigious and selective film schools in the world.In my most recent role as a Senior Video Editor at Condé Nast, I was responsible for editing short to medium-form unscripted video content across a set of brands such as Vanity Fair, Wired, Bon Appetit, Vogue, Architectural Digest, GQ, New Yorker, Teen Vogue, Allure, Glamour, Golf Digest, SELF, and Style. I worked on the creation and style of future series, collaborating with programming, production, and other senior members of post production. I also maintained consistency across series I piloted, and pushed creative boundaries to execute compelling content. I leveraged my skills in problem solving, video editing, and video advertising to deliver high-quality and impactful videos that attracted millions of views and subscribers. I worked at Condé Nast until August 2023.
