About Shandon Klein
I enjoy helping people recognize that what we believe impacts how we act in the world. Empowering individuals and groups with self-discovery tools to connect them with something beyond themselves and closer to one another to heal a divided world is the work my soul must have! Valuing difference and diversity is a core value of mine.I am a commissioned Elder in the United Methodist Church serving churches in Minnesota and North Dakota and a doctoral candidate at Southern Methodist University studying Religious Ethics. My current research involves studying an ethic of control and an ethic of resistance, discerning the role of religion in cultivating these ethics for better or worse in the lives of political activists. I was a lay delegate to the 2020/2024 General Conference for the United Methodist Church and was recently elected as a student representative for the board for the Society of Christian Ethics.
